Fall Cara Box Reveal

I believe that the Cara Box Exchange gets better every time. If you haven't heard of Cara Box before, basically you get paired up with two people who you get to know over a two month period before you send a box of goodies + a note of encouragement to one of them and receive a box from the other person.

I was paired with two awesome ladies this moth. Sonya blogs over at Sea Salt and Caramel, and while she is originally from France, she is currently located in southern California. She is also still in college, but her college is a lot different from mine.

Tiffany blogs at d'Asti at Tiffany's, and she sent me my Cara Box from Louisiana! Like me, Tiffany works at a hotel, but the hotel she works for is much bigger than the one I work at.

I think that it is so cool that this month I was paired up with people who are similar to me, but we have differences in our lives, and I really enjoyed getting to know both of them!

I found that leaf on the ground when I was bringing in the mail the day my Cara Box came in the mail, so I picked it up to use as a prop! (:

August Cara Box Reveal

I participated in Wifessionals' Cara Box exchange again this month.

I got to know two lovely ladies this month - Hannah who sent me my box, and Nicole who I sent a box to.

This month's theme was "seasons in time" and the box was to be filled with things that the person you are sending to loves! Hannah did great (:

pink picture frame - one of my favorite colors & I love photography {also these are probably my favorite frames!}

Yankee Candle Cinnamon & Spice candles {which smell really yummy!}

fun cupcake liners - because I love to bake, especially cupcakes! I usually buying boring liners though.

sprinkles - another thing I rarely buy!

L'Oreal's Spice Things Up nail polish - I have a slight nail polish addiction, but this is the only neutral color I have!

May Cara Box Reveal!

Two posts today, because it's time for the reveal of the May Cara Box!

I sent out a box to McCall {view her reveal here}, and received a box from Audrey!

The theme of this month's box was regional items, so I sent out items about Door County, and received items about Indiana. I thought that this was a cool way to learn about another place.

Sorry if this post gets a little rambly.

I loved opening a box full of PINK!!!

Things got a little shuffled around during shipping, but I figured out where the lost post-it notes belonged (:

fun fact: I've never actually been to a Cracker Barrel! {also, I love your handwriting, Audrey!}

here's what's inside! I worked a summer at a candy store, and we sold some of these, but I haven't tried most of these! I do love Necco though!

I am addicted to buying notecards!

I tried to get a picture of what they look like, but it was kind of hard because the picture is one of those where if you move it, the picture moves too.

this made me picture the intro of ABC's "The Middle" with the corn fields {which we have in Wisconsin too!}

kettle corn is my favorite, but I don't think I've had any since I got my wisdom teeth taken out over a year ago!

as I was opening the box, I realized that I knew more things about Indiana than I thought I knew! this was a great correlation!

I have a lot of nail polish, but I didn't have any silver before! and I haven't tried Maybelline's Color Show yet.

someone just posted about going strawberry picking, and it made me so jealous, because I really want fresh strawberries now!

I'm also addicted to Lip Smackers. I tend to buy them whenever I find them on clearance. I have way too many...because I'm still twelve at heart...(:
