my gold stars came home for a week and I love them. here are some pictures from the week with only a few words because I'm super tired.

Friday 5 February // day thirty-six :: dear Ben & Jerry's, your Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream is wonderful, especially while working on coloring and watching SNL, but sometimes the cookies are too big.

Saturday 6 February // day thirty-seven :: I colored twenty-one of these for my gold stars, who arrive tomorrow. {the printables can be found here.}

Sunday 7 February // day thirty-eight :: my loves arrived, and one of them brought some fancy cookies from the Pink Bakery.

Monday 8 February // day thirty-nine :: some love from above. (thanks, Teflon.)

Tuesday 9 February // day forty :: Matt and Andrea diner song rehearsal. they wrote a beautiful song about one of my photographs, but they were practicing a different song at the time of this picture.

Wednesday 10 February // day forty-one :: my sweet love Bruiser. I held him for about an hour after this. <3

Thursday 11 February // day forty-two :: Wade plays the most stylish upright I have ever seen.

January was quite the ride, getting settled into my new apartment and into a new schedule, a trip to Chicago to see some friends, and a couple Door County adventures.

some of our guests had seen me out the night before at a NYE party, so they knew that I wasn't feeling the best on the first and brought dessert for me. (:

Friday 22 January // day twenty-two :: flipping through a book of Vivian Maier's photography. this slide one was my favorite from the book, and I would love to have some of her photographs on my walls someday.

Saturday 23 January // day twenty-three :: new duvet cover and shams, which make me feel like more of an adult.

Sunday 24 January // day twenty-four :: now I still need to update my voting district (among other things).

Monday 25 January // day twenty-five :: five years with Luna! recreating a photo (with a more weather-appropriate drink) from the first time I drove her.

I had been trying to do a weekly links post, but then that kind of fell to the side, and at some point I was also trying to do it every other week. now, I'm going to try to do a monthly one, and I guess we'll see how long I can keep that up. (:

I am a huge picture book nerd, but I guess that comes with the territory of being a preschool teacher! here's a list from BuzzFeed of the 21 best picture books from 2015. I've actually read four of them and can't wait to read more!

I'm sure we've all heard about the alphabetized Wizard of Oz by now, but I only managed to watch ten minutes of it so far.

this is from a few years ago, but one of my friends recently shared it on facebook, and it is a great list of little wake-up calls for everyone.

I don't know anything really about hair or makeup, but there are some hairstyles here that I really want to try.
