3/52 :: 2016

when I decided that I would do these posts on Mondays instead of Fridays, I thought that it would give me more time to get the photos edited and into the post with words attached, but here I am, doing it on Sunday night... someday I might learn.

anyway, I took a tiny trip down to Chicago to see my friends for a couple days, so my camera made it not only out of the apartment, but also out of the state this week. (:

Friday 15 January // day fifteen :: I rarely take pictures in this room since it's so dark, but here's a look at what's on top of my dresser. shortly after taking this, one of my canvas prints fell off the wall, so that's there now too.

Saturday 16 January // day sixteen :: walls and a doorway. I don't know, I just like looking at things in weird ways.

Sunday 17 January // day seventeen :: on the road again for a couple days.

Monday 18 January // day eighteen :: a new home away from home. thank you, Chicago friends. {you might recognize the bass from photo number five on this post.} it's less of a tripping hazard in their living room instead of ours. (:

Tuesday 19 January // day nineteen :: mornings at aloft.

Wednesday 20 January // day twenty :: a giant stack of library books because I'm not good at pacing myself or theming lessons.

Thursday 21 January // day twenty-one :: reading materials.

xoxo.

44/52 :: 2015

it was certainly a whirlwind of a week/weekend. I had an excellent time with the #songfamily, which included a night of staying out way way way too late, but it was worth the memories. oh how I love them. soon I will catch up on blogging. (;

Thursday 29 October // day three hundred two :: beautiful window display at the Artist Guild.

Friday 30 October // day three hundred three :: sweet Sugar Ransom (with Kim Manning, Carley Baer, Uno Lady, and Steve Smith) for "Shaking Death Blues"

Saturday 31 October // day three hundred four :: Miss Kim Manning and co. for "Fuck Yeah! Halloween"

Sunday 1 November // day three hundred five :: breakfast with this crew after staying up all night <3 <3 <3

Monday 2 November // day three hundred six :: and just like that, it's over. somehow I still become responsible for their belongings (not my Star Wars water bottle), sometimes they let me wear their clothes (not pictured), sometimes they leave sweet notes (thanks, Devil to Drag).

Tuesday 3 November // day three hundred seven :: my sweet gold stars got me a giant star! I still am not sure where to put it/what to do with it, but it's here for now.

Wednesday 4 November // day three hundred eight :: newest picks from the library.

{Imaginary Fred // The Blue Whale // The Octopuppy // Edmond: The Moonlit Party // Maple & Willow Apart // Leo: A Ghost Story // Double Happiness}

the month by iPhone :: September 2015

usually I am pretty good about putting these posts together throughout the month, adding pictures a few at a time, but this time I totally forgot until the 29th, maybe even the 30th! it was a pretty busy month with the start of school (and therefore classes at the Y), Labor Day, busy days at the motel, and my niece's baptism. here's to the beginning of fall!

back to gymnastics, and dressing the part for once. leggings are not pants, but they are so comfortable! {Nikes}

I love reflection photos, and when I put this picture here, I realized that it was a reflection in a reflection...

Labor Day horseback riding at Kurtz Corral! Rocky wasn't too happy at the end of the ride because I missed the part about where I was supposed to save a treat for him for after the ride. whoops.

exploring and making new friends.

schoolhouse circa 1901 in Southern Door.

my Instagram is set to private because I am constantly taking pictures at work. 99% of my pictures are posted in real time and I geotag as much as I can because I love that map feature. I am so lucky to work at this amazing place surrounded by so much vintage beauty (and so many wonderful people).

if anyone is looking for a giant Ponderosa sign, I will tell you where to find this one in Algoma, WI.

I love Chronicle Books for all their wonderful things like this Anywhere Travel Guide.

I love coloring.

this is the corn maze at Schopf's Hilltop Dairy View, at least the street view.

more vintage Simmons furniture, of course.

I just love children's books the best.

{Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast // Dragons Love Tacos // Rude Cakes}

sugar skull love.

I really love pillow pictures more than I should.

my great aunt drives a Beetle too (:

of course I decided to wear leggings and boots with my dress (because it is fall) on a day that turned out to be pretty warm.

a dirty Luna (yikes at those wheels) with freshly polished headlights.

shopping at Blue Ivy to use a birthday gift certificate. gotta love the Kate Spade quote! (:

35/52 2015

it's that weird time of year transitioning from summer to school year, yet it's still peak season. please tell me that someone else knows how weird this time of year is? anyway, it was a busy weekend and then I got to see some awesome friends on Monday!

Thursday 27 August // day two hundred forty :: my loaner for the week while Luna was getting fixed... no offense to anyone who drives a Buick, but I felt like an old lady. :/

Friday 28 August // day two hundred forty-one :: photographs as bookmarks.

Saturday 29 August // day two hundred forty-two :: I love getting fun mail, so ordering things online makes me happier than it should. I am so excited to own copies of these books!

Sunday 30 August // day two hundred forty-three :: I love fog.

Monday 31 August // day two hundred forty-four :: pieces of the moments.

Tuesday 1 September // day two hundred forty-five :: new shoesh. (: {buy here}

Wednesday 2 September // day two hundred forty-six :: not even embarrassed about adding all of this old music to my iPod.

the month by iPhone :: August 2015

it's currently 10:09 pm on Monday August 31st. I don't understand how this summer flew by so fast. it seems like it was just beginning two weeks ago. I will always talk about time passing because I don't understand how it works. so crazy.

August was a wonderful month because I got to have a lot of fun with my littles, celebrated my birthday, and got to see lots of great friends! here's to hoping that September is fun too. it will at least be busy!

one of my favorite people works at Starbucks, so even though I don't really like to go there, if I see her working while I'm at Target, I will for sure stop by. but I don't know what to get, so she surprised me. this is a turtle frappuccino, I think.

I love unicorns, so for our anything goes week of camp, I had to pick some unicorn things (we read Unicorn Thinks He's Pretty Great). there were enough extra sun catchers, so I had to make one.

new mirror from TJ Maxx! it hangs next to my Annabel Lee print.

whiskey at six o'clock was a good idea after an annoying day when Luna decided to just die for no reason. (fine. the fuel pump failed. also it happened where my car gets fixed, so I have that to be thankful for.)

not my space, but always a favorite to photograph.

fake golden light thanks to Afterlight, which I need to use more often.

I happen to love pillow shots.

three room shots in a row, and they all make me want to work on editing some photos to be black and white.

Nistebox, a must in Sturgeon Bay Bueno.

things I was not dressed for today: a field. I tagged along with Abi for her senior photoshoot, and it was awesome getting to see Kelly in action.

(also I am in love with my new skirt from aerie.)
