a few pictures from this week. it's been pretty precipitous (I wasn't sure that that was even a word!) and kind of dark...
Wednesday 5 November // day three hundred nine :: cooking view.
Thursday 6 November // day three hundred ten :: it was too dark to take the picture that I wanted to take, so this happened when I saw where I had set my camera down. I really need to do some dusting!
Friday 7 November // day three hundred eleven :: the picture that I was hoping to take the day before. I finally colored and hung up my Edgar Allan Poe quote. {print here}
Saturday 8 November // day three hundred twelve :: an accurate portrait of me from one of the musicians.
Sunday 9 November // day three hundred thirteen :: my World Market order arrived the day before!! I love that everything has a sticker with the initials of the person who packaged it; it makes it seem more personal. {scarf. lotion. I also got magnets, but they are sold out.}
Monday 10 November // day three hundred fourteen :: in case anyone needed a reminder, I'm not a good cook and I am a worse food photographer. but, alas, this is my only photo from that day.
Tuesday 11 November // day three hundred fifteen :: not five minutes later, the entire balcony was covered in a white dusting. hopefully it doesn't stick.
xoxo.

October's Forgotten
some October moments.
These first few pictures above are from the first, when I visited the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial. They have some tables and things that are made out of motorcycles, which was pretty cool. It was such a beautiful day with the perfectly clouded blue sky, and I was actually looking for a corn field when I stopped here.
foggy day on Lake Michigan in Algoma.
Bayshore Drive.
a tiny bit of color in my all black outfit.
Portage Park.
the end.

44/52 2014
oh, what a week. it was so wonderful to have some of my dear friends here, and I now miss them so much. it's funny how having them here for such a short period of time becomes so normal, and then once they leave, it's devastating. I just need to focus on all of the fun and the love, and it will be okay.
Wednesday 29 October // day three hundred two :: if you've been around here for a while, you may remember my friend Delaney. a few of us found this squirrel, and we were quite fascinated by the fact that he was just sitting on the windowsill. apparently he was scared because he didn't know where his mom was.
Thursday 30 October // day three hundred three :: a little violin with Julia before dinner.
Friday 31 October // day three hundred four :: Ruby brought everyone some paper straws for Halloween.
Saturday 1 November // day three hundred five :: not the greatest picture since it was taken on auto, but this is the perfect reminder from our second line parade.
Sunday 2 November // day three hundred six :: pumpkins outside the apartment. when I returned home from work, they were all spread out by the doorway.
Monday 3 October // day three hundred seven :: finally changed the calendar.
Tuesday 4 October // day three hundred eight :: newest books. {104 Things to Photograph // Hyperactivitypography from A to Z // Women in Clothes}
xoxo.

The Month by iPhone :: October 2014
Please be prepared for a lot of pictures (:
I went and took some pictures outside of an abandoned house! {more pictures here}
I read Liane Moriarty's Big Little Lies
my manager accommodated this special request for some daughters wanting to help their parents celebrate their anniversary. so sweet!
visiting Max.
I still want one of these desks.
the unicorn said so.
I just love these bright colors!
I just really love French bulldogs and Boston terriers and any little dog with a wrinkly nose! (:
I used to bike over the bridge to go to my aunt's house when I was younger, and I don't remember the sidewalk being this wide. it seemed so narrow at the time. on this day, I walked nearly six miles because I didn't feel like driving over there when I had a lot of time to do whatever.
I got back in the pool for the first time in over five years! I don't remember swimming being so difficult, but I guess I was just used to it at the time. I still ended up swimming a mile.
books for my class (: all four are by Hervé Tullet: Help! We Need a Title, Press Here, Mix It Up!, Blue & Square
is it Halloween yet?
I participated in Fat Mum Slim's photo a day, so this was "j is for" journal!
...and "k is for" a Kerr Mason jar full of Chimes ginger chews! (:
Luna Lovebug
adventure awaits.
Lake Michigan
moonroof view.
I think I'm going to add a little color to this print before I hang it. I still don't know where to put it though! {print from here}
Portage Park in autumn
pretty roses.
new favorite shirt, if only it wasn't too big.
bring your sculls to work day (;
twinning.
loving Charles' mug.
scared squirrel friend.
a little reading before work. {Women in Clothes}
