I have an addiction.

Target. Target is my addiction. I just really love Target. I go to there like once a week to look at the sales and clearance items haha. My mom and I went there today, actually, after I got done with my class.

I picked up a few things of course. Lately, they've had scüni hair products in the dollar section (I got two 16-pack bobby pins a few weeks ago), and today they had the hair ties I like in a 16-pack. So I had to get them. Also in the dollar section, they had some 40-square-foot wrapping paper, so I got a roll of pink with white, green, and yellow cupcakes on it. I looked around the clearance clothes, but there wasn't really anything that I wanted. We walked around for a little bit longer; I love to look at the endcaps for good clearance items. I wanted to look at the Halloween section, so we went to the back corner. I can't wait until after Halloween to score some of that awesome candy! :) There was a bunch of school stuff on clearance there too! There were some erasers that I have been eyeing every time I've been back in the school section...well, today I found them. They were in the 70% off section & there was only one left. At fifty-eight cents, I couldn't pass them up.

We also found Annie's mac & cheese for half off ($1.04) so we tried bunnies & carrots. (:

In other unrelated news, I updated both my iPod touch & my iPhone to iOS 6...I'm not really impressed. I was hoping for Siri (I have the iPhone 4), and I thought she was somehow integrated in now? But I can't find her. Also, I really wanted that panoramic camera, but it's only on the iPhone 5 :(

primary colors & white cake

so I have lots of post ideas, but not enough time. soon! soon! I will write them.

here's what I did today:

I made Funfetti cupcakes!!! :) Betty Crocker now makes a red velvet cake mix; I really hope to try it out soon. Duncan Hines used to be the only red velvet cake mix that I would see at either of the grocery stores, so I'm super excited!!

I think I'm going to go do some brainstorming now (:

Future Dwellings

I love Pinterest. It's a great place to organize all different kinds of inspiration all together. And I think it looks pretty, too. But I dislike knowing that I can't have everything that I see there.

There are a few things that I definitely want someday when I move out.

The first is exposed brick walls. I think they are gorgeous.

(from here)

There is a coffeehouse in Green Bay, Wisconsin that pulls off this look perfectly. Kavarna Coffeehouse is, by far, the prettiest coffeehouse I've ever been to.

Another thing that I absolutely have to do is to get a big world map, and pin all of the places that I've been! :)

I want a lot of photographs on the wall, and a big kitchen. I want enough counter space so that my KitchenAid doesn't have to hide in the basement. And bookshelves! With lots of books and pretty little things!

I want a closet, with real doors. Or any kind of way to enclose it really.

Musings

Tomorrow I am going to figure this blog layout thing once and for all!

As for now though, I'm just going to ramble about my day.

This morning I woke up around 8 (I got off work at midnight; oh how I'm not a fan of closing shift.) and did some stuff around the house...errr Internet :) haha. Then my mom and I went grocery shopping. I really don't like grocery shopping alone, you know? It's really boring. And I really shouldn't go shopping alone anyway because I always end up spending wayyyy to much money. Once I went to Target in need of clear nail polish and I ended up spending sixty dollars. I'm pretty sure that didn't just happen because it was Target. oh well. We went home and I had lunch (grilled cheese!) and got ready to go to class.

Today I had Hotel Facilities Management, which is pretty much a class about managing housekeeping operations. Our instructor had us watch a couple videos about how some housekeepers washed the dirty glasses in the room - in the bathroom sink, just rinse and dry off with a soiled towel. ew ew ew!! That really freaks me out!!! Anyway, after class, I drove over to Dollar Tree since I haven't been there in a really long time, but there were some people I didn't feel like being around who were there, so I think I'll only go shopping in the mornings now, like before the high schoolers are done for the day. So I left without buying anything.

I drove downtown to go fuel Luna up. I didn't even look at the price per gallon, but wow oh wow gas is expensive! I spent $49.01 (the tank was at I think 3/16ths full). Thankfully I had a gift card left over from my birthday, so I only paid about half. Then I drove home, where I've been for about five hours. My life is so boring.

I can't wait until the day when I have my own little place. My KitchenAid mixer will have a place on the counter (not hidden in the basement!), I won't have to clean up after anyone else, and I'll be able to bake more and just ahhh. I want to decorate. Is that weird?

Unproduction

Things I should be doing:
-researching for my Etsy project
-reading my textbooks
-editing photos

Things I have done today:
-went to class
-refeuled Luna ($49.01!!!)
-browsed Dollar Tree

Things I am currently doing:
-listening to music
-browsing the Internet

Plus there's a craft that I found on Pinterest that I still want to do. ahhh, someday I'll finally do it.

In other related news, I joined Swagbucks today to earn free gift cards. I really need a life.

Check out this gorgeous picture! I want this and some of her other prints; they're beautiful!!

Welcome.

Hello & welcome to the adventures of Teresa & Luna!

I guess introductions should be the first order of business. I'm Teresa and I'm a nineteen-year-old college student studying hospitality. Luna is my 2002 Volkswagen Beetle.

This picture is actually over a year old haha.

To be more specific, we live in Wisconsin, but Luna is from Minneapolis. Sometimes I refer to my car as if she was a human being.

I work at a pretty cute 1950's motel and I love it so much.

After keeping up with a few blogs, I decided that it was my turn to make one and document my life. Starting, now! :)

I hope that this blog will contain photographs, memories, and smiles. I hope to capture the little moments in my life before they become forgotten.
